Swapping over from a razor mouse, the first noticeable difference is the shape feels a little intrusive, I love all the accessories to the buttons and the functionality, but the area for your two unused fingers to sit on the right side feels unrefined and made my hand cramp quite a bit in the adjustment period, although I got used to it, I would love to see refinement, thanks!
I love my swiftpoint. I wanted to have the most customizable mouse to use for gaming and productivity. Fits my palm perfectly and can activate most of the buttons with very little issues.
Probably the best mouse I have ever used in terms of functionality. Would be even better if this was wireless and more ergonomic, but the functionality and convenience more than makes up for it.
The mouse is great. button mapping and switching it up between games and photo shop is excellent, really enjoying the mouse. very efficient and button mapping, I definitely would love a wireless version for sure!
My only issue is the side rubber grip seems that the glue is melted and slides slightly off
I'm an MMO mouse user but I wanted something more compact. The software is the best of any mouse I've had.
Good product and support. My mouse wheel broke and they sent me a new mouse altogether.
Love the feel of all the buttons, great software and is super customizable and easy to use.
Even though it seems like a gimmick, it is actually really useful.
It's also really nice to have a well-built mouse that isn't going to just fall apart.
It is genuinely worth the money.
First time buying a high end mouse and it is amazing. The ability to have a multitude of profiles set up for different games is amazing. And there are so many options and changes you can make to dial in the mouse to perfectly suit anything you are trying to do! Absolutely worth the money!
I had pains on my shoulders and back on my right side for the longest time. I realize I was straining my arm and could feel the weight of my mouse which I use for daily work. Using the Padpoint is such a breeze literally, it feels so light and natural to handle. I’m not gonna go back to ordinary mouse anymore. The after sales service is excellent too!
I had one of the original mice when they were first introduced and used it for years, I use a mouse mainly for fine grain movement and swiftpoint excels at facilitating that being very natural and intuitive to use. I only replaced it because it was taken.
The replacement Tracpoint is identical though my muscle memory tells me its different. For those that are use to the original, the middle finger rest area is more curved, resulting in the middle finger resting either further back or forward (avoiding the middle section that bows outward). Resting further back is less natural (to me) while resting further forward result in the middle finger pushing against the scroll knob (I'd rather not know its there till I need it).
Have no trust or confidence in the shipping company. But definitely rate the product.
I'm switching from one of those gaming mice with too many thumb buttons, which I never learned to use but did frequently press accidentally when I picked up the mouse.
Unlike that layout, I find I'm able to actually learn the functions associated with these buttons and use them at the right times. I particularly like the buttons that are situated under the knuckles of the fingers that work the standard right- and left- click buttons.
The configurator is easy to use, and dynamically switching profiles based on which running program has focus is very handy. Ghost of Tsushima has gotten easier since I mapped the two buttons left of left-click to be the block and dodge commands.
I like the tilt function way more than I expected to. I haven't done anything with the joystick mode, but I found out I could use the scroll wheel to change the sensor resolution when the mouse is tilted right and it's the best dynamic resolution control I've ever had.
The mouse feet are pretty high-friction compared to other gaming mice. It's not terrible but it's enough to notice.
The mouse is a bit narrow for my hands, enough so that longer sessions can get to be pretty uncomfortable. It might improve as the muscles adjust, but it would be nice if there was a way to add a bit more on the right side to rest on and to grip.
I think functionally this thing is insane but the shape is just uncomfortable for my hands, gave it two months and ended up using two mice.
When I play games like star citizen or warthunder where having close keybinds are super nice this is a go to but I do thing for comfort mmo mice are better for my hands so I use this here and there now. If the shape was different I’d be using this as my main mouse without a doubt
great experience with both the mouse and the support, I had a problem and they behaved excellently, never had a similar experience with the support in my life! I recommend the mouse both for a normal use experience (single player games or productivity) and for more specific genres, I use it for MMORPGs and it's the best I've ever had! it's so complex that I haven't explored all its features yet. get it without thinking too much!
I have used a Swiftpoint mouse now for 5 years when I travel
It's a clever bit of kit
Great Mouse. Wish it had side buttons on the scroll wheel like my G502X. Hopefully the next version will have this feature plus be wireless.
Honestly the mouse has so many options that every other mouse falls flat in the customization options. It replaced my Logitech mouse completely, even though I've been completely dependent on it because I've been using it for so long. I can't wait for whatever product they have coming out next. All I can ask for is more buttons, more buttons, more buttons! Especially for the thumb! And if they could be easier to press that would be great too!
I purchased my Z2 in the 1st round and have loved it from the moment I got it. I had been using Logitech mice for many years but just had to try this. I did not go back to the G500x series but instead started to really use the great functionality of the Z2's APP which is superb.
Then disaster. The wheel broke away from the mouse and my beloved X2 was dead. This was after 10 months of daily use for both work and gaming.
I contacted the team and they quickly explained that there had been some considered weakness in the wheel axel on some of the early production models and that this was most likely the case. So what did they do? Send me some parts to exchange myself? Ask me to return the mouse for a repair? Refund my money? Ignore me (like some companies)? No, instead swiftpoint sent me out a brand new, latest revision of the Z2 in quite time.
I was honestly blown away by their willingness to help me quickly. I was already a very vocal fan of swiftpoint and the Z2 in particular but now I am singing their praises from the rooftops.
Thank you for such an excellent product, backed up by the most perfect support. A+++++. You have a customer for life.
Truly the best gaming mouse I’ve used. I went from the Corsair darkstar and Logitech 502x+ and this has them beat. The software is just plain good. Destroys Corsair and Logi. Excellent buy
